This class provides the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) required classroom training and firearm qualification students need in order to obtain a Texas License to Carry a Handgun (LTC). The course consists of 4 to 6 hours of combined classroom instruction and handgun qualification testing at a designated range. Students should bring their own weapon ie. semi-automatic handgun or revolver (unloaded) of 22 caliber or above. If you do not have a weapon you can rent from the range. Additionally, you will need 50 rounds of ammo for the caliber of your weapon. The range will provide safety glasses and hearing protection. $85
