The Level III (Armed) Security Officer Course consists of 45 hours of classroom and hands-on training. Additionally, all students will have to qualify with a handgun and shotgun at a designated range. This course, is required by the Texas Department of Public safety and the Private Security Bureau. The Level III firearm proficiency exam has the same requirements as the License to Carry firearm proficiency exam. $125
